I am a researcher with interests in pure mathematics, applied statistics and artificial intelligence/machine learning. I am currently an Assistant Lecturer at Technological University Dublin. I previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki and received my PhD from the University of Oxford.

My research within pure mathematics is at the intersection of probability theory, analysis and mathematical physics. I study random processes such as Gaussian fields or Schramm-Loewner evolutions which are “universal”, in the sense that they describe a wide variety of physical phenomena.

I have worked in interdisciplinary settings on problems from economics (in the Bank of England’s Advanced Analytics division) and biostatistics (as part of Quantitative Omics Research).

I am very interested in recent applications of artificial intelligence and formal verification to mathematics and excited to see the transformative effects these technologies will have on the field, as well as science more generally.

My collaborators include Dmitry Beliaev, Stephen Muirhead, Antti Kupiainen, Eero Saksman and David Wells.
